Just a Few Ideas to Cure Quarantine Boredom

Hey everybody!

(Who am I kidding, there's nobody here xD)

Cooking/Baking

Yes. I'm bringing this up. If you're new to baking, try out some simple recipes and focus on enjoying the process. If you're more experienced, try out some harder, longer, more complicated recipes, and (yes) enjoy the process! (Speaking to myself here, y'all. I'm a fan of quick and easy recipes xD)

Crafts (Knitting, Crochet, Sewing, etc)

If you're bored and have nothing to do, there's no better time than now to get out those craft supplies you've been storing for years! If you're new to it, there's no need to worry - there are plenty of Youtube tutorials out there to help you along.

Learn a Language

This is such a cool idea because it's productive and so good for your brain! This could be anything from Spanish to Latin to Sign Language to Braille. Choose something that interests you!

No, this isn't a productive idea. But, it's still something to do. Aaaand you can never get too much of Jane Austen.

Read (Obviously.)

You knew you couldn't come to a booklover's blog without seeing this xD
Seriously though, reading is such a good way to fend off boredom and learn at the same time. You could read either fiction or non-fiction; it's totally up to you. I would recommend a mix.

You know. Snuggly sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes (hello basic white girls! xD), hot chocolates, cozy socks, steaming hot soups and roasts... all of it.

Spend Some Time with Your Maker

This is the most important of all (hence why it's last.) We often excuse ourselves from spending much time in God's Word and in prayer by saying that we don't have enough time. Well, the all-powerful, sovereign King has made  time in your busy schedules for Himself. Will you use it?

Well, that's all for now, folks! Hopefully you enjoyed it, and let me know if you'll try any of these out!

What's one thing y'all have been enjoying during quarantine?
